ATP Value Plus Flex Plate Kits provide extra value for the technician. The Flex Plate Kits contain the additional parts (front pump bushing and seal and extension housing bushing and seal) that the technician should replace while the transmission is removed during the flex plate replacement. The typical R & R time of a transmission is close to four hours. A worn front pump bushing will cause excessive stress on the flex plate. It should be replaced with the front pump bushing privided in the ATP Value Plus Kit. Also the front pump seal, extension housing bushing and seal should be replaced to provide the customer with a professional, leak free repair.
